Who said it was limited and why do you keep asking that. It is not limited, that has been posted 5 times by my count....
EDIT**** I can see you are just trolling, as you went back and erased past postings of the EXACT SAME QUESTION.
GM'S don't limit downshifts with manual control, it only initiates them or forces up shifts. Ignoring any "manual" up shifts to the selected gear.
Fords manual function is just that, it does what you tell it to, without interpretation, unless you order a shift outside the safe RPM range.
