Gotta love the first comment left for the Excursion video:
"I'm really digging the "service engine soon" light on your dash while you beat the ballsack off your 7.3?"
Seriously, with OD off, he's turning about 2700 RPM at 65 MPH. My 8.1 would be spinning about 3000 at that speed with OD off and pulling that weight up that hill just a smoothly.
I agree that the X sounds really loud, but the video narrator says early on " dig that exhaust" which makes me think he has a cat-back system on it, in addition to the aftermarket gauges on the dash.
All said and done, it's a shame they don't make the X anymore.
