7.3 repair bill ouch
had my 7.3 to the dealer for Waste Gate actuator and heater fan stuck on defrost,,, $963.00 later runs like a champ. still cheaper than a new truck payment ok rant over!!

That and a $963 repair bill at the dealer is too bad.- I had all kinds of expensive problems with my 2003F450 7.3. Oil leaks from the high pressure pump was one.
Front end needed rebuilding, rear end blew.. by 120k it was getting very expensive. Me Again wrote:

- I noticed a little bit of worse than normal mileage and the pull out power was a little less but I found it when looking for a vacumn hose break or something because my heater fan was stuck in defrost

x2 I have one with 240k. and another with 330k both bought new, would not trade them for any new truck. Only issue one cps and one ipr sensor on the 330k truck. So far.

- How did you know there was a problem with the waste gate actuator? What were the symptoms?
