I am on the market for 6.7 and we have at least 2 topics discussing the option, but simple law of physics say that 440HP will beat 250 HP.
The difference will not be as big as the numbers might indicate as also "there in no replacement for displacement"
The 7.3l has low end torque untouchable in history.. well my 8V71 Detroit with its 450 rpm at idle can beat it, but can't put 5000 lb engine into pickup.
My direct experience discussed before was that 6l with automatic would move heavy trailer slower than 7.3 with manual.
But too many factors to consider.
My impression is that everybody who enters 6.7 will have famous sentence Willy Smith said in one of those alien ships movie
"I've got to get myself one of these"
