I've camped in below freezing temps in remote locations. What i typically do is run my Honda EU2000i and power a small electric heater on the low setting all night.
If I'm plugged in, I do the same. Sometimes it will cook me out because it runs constantly, it doesn't have a temperature control.
I ought to look for a smarter heater tomorrow at Wal-Mart when I'm there.
My preference is to run an electric space heater when I'm plugged in, rather than the propane furnace.
