And thanks for the responses fellas, and glad to see the discussion hasn't ( yet ! ) turned into fistacuffs ! I wanted to post this because this discussion comes up often, and there are at least some folks who come back to the forum and say, "prove it, I wanna see a picture of it". Ok....so I did.

I'm still going to use LT's personally, but I am open to the idea that different tires and different brands have different ratings, including speed ratings. Which is of course one slice of the whole pie.
