I still find it strange that even though some TT manufacturers are useing LT tires and if asked, the LT manufacturers will say LTs can be used for TT service, also we know that LTs under go a much more ridged testing program; still, I have never seen any tire manufacturer advertise or recommend their LTs as suitable for TT use.

Kumho does with the radial 857. It states on the Kumho USA site as well and the Kumho worldwide site the tire is designed "for light trucks, vans and transporters", and goes on to say it is suitable for trailer application. It says on the sidewall "LT Radial".
My personal experience with this tire has been good. Over 25,000 miles on them now on this trailer. Even with the miles I put on them, they aren't going to wear out. They will age out first.
The Kumho 857 seems to be one of those great finds for trailering. I haven't seen a bad word about them.
FWIW, I was looking for LT's for my trailer but ran into clearance issues and rim configuration probs (I'm married to these rims and hubs for awhile). I decided to get the Carlisle RH Trail and have been pleased so far. Load range D gives me a lot of overhead with weight.
