'78 13ft Travelaire
Howdy folks !!
New to the forum, new to trailers but not new to camping.
The wife and I bought an '81 Lionel tent trailer in '09 and had fun camping with it in Manitoba, Ontario and Québec.
In August 2012 we got caught by a surprise storm right in the middle of setting up the Lionel... and I decided then and there to buy a camper before our next trip.
We lucked out and found a mint '78 13ft Travelaire a high school buddy of mine was selling.
There is some water damage around the roof vent but I will tackle that in April or May 2013. This forum has been very instructive as to renovation and roof resealing methods.
I will post pics of my efforts.
In the meantime, here is a pic of our vintage TT when we bought it.
And here it is ready to sleep away the winter.
