The #7 plug is the one on the drivers side against the firewall. You have to put the socket on the plug then reach around the steering column to attach the ratchet. After the plug was snug, picture what happened....I had a hand on either side of the steering column and was separating the socket from the ratchet under the steering column by the firewall. One had on the socket, one on the ratchet, and when I pulled the little extension came off of both and dropped....somewhere. It;'s too far back to have landed on the motor mount or below the motor, and I don't see it anywhere.
Maybe on top of the frame rail under the cab. I have a few tools fall in that area and slide down the curve of the frame under the body. Good luck!
