I am not a HVAC tech but this is what I learned when I recently researched, bought and installed my RV AC unit. Somewhere around 2010 air conditioner manufacturers phased out R22 and started using r410a. r410a runs at a higher pressure. I was at one of the largest RV dealerships in Las Vegas and I told them I was trying to buy an air conditioner that would operate with my Honda eu2000i generator. The short answer was, "not gonna happen in Las Vegas when you really need it during summer heat, you need more power. It will run it when temperatures are cooler but not during our summer". Plus low power equals short air conditioner life.
The low amp leader is not the Mach 8 9200, it's the Mach 1 PS 11000. If you check the amp draw, it beats the Mach 8 9200, previously known as the Polar cub.
