Nothing recent as far as nails or screws. I did rebuild the entire underside of the bench seat at the table from the front to the rear but that was when I got it a year ago.
DaButcher good idea on the temporary ground. I hadn't thought about that. I'll give it a try in the next couple of days.
I know that there are wire nuts at the bathroom exhaust fan which I have disconnected and took that fan, bathroom light and entry light out of the circuit and I still have the 9v or so on the wire right there and the other two lights.
I guess I can also ohm out my ground before I run the extra ground wire just to see.
