Yep Super_Dave that will be next step. I tried DaButcher's idea and ran another ground to the ground wires where the wire nut was at the bathroom exhaust fan with no dice. I then isolated the bathroom light and rear counter light (down circuit from the 9v when separated by the exhaust fan. good ground and good 12v and both worked. Also the exhaust fan by itself worked. I tried the 12v wire on each bulb on every light that didn't work before by grounding the chassis of the bulb and touching the 12v wire to the + terminal of the light and they all worked. It looks to be somewhere between where it goes in the wall under the fridge and first light in the series appears to be porch light.
I will check all the actual switches for the light fixtures next.
I hope I don't have to wait until I replace the roof to find and fix this :-(
