$955 Later

Well, today my truck finally cost me some money. 955 dollars to be exact. New rear slider window and third brake light assembly to stop the leak. Oh well, that is the first in 7 years, so guess I cannot complain too much. Now to dry everything out.
  • Hi Rick,
Actually both were leaking. I opened the under seat storage the other day and it was full of water. Apparently Dodge has/had some real issues with crappy design around the rear window, third brake light and body seams. 7 years of sitting outside finally got to the seals. But like i said, that is the second issue in 7 years so i guess i am far luckier than Ford 6.0L owners.

Some would use that as an excuse to replace the whole truck. :)

I know a man who needed new tires so he did what most logical people do.. traded the car in.
  • What leaked ? the window or brake light? I guess your saying both? Never had mine leak but again I don't live in the rain forest and it's parked in a garage.
Blame it on the 6.7 buddy :W
  • I guess if you pro rate it out over 7 years....it's not that bad. :-)
