Roadlover - I only have one year under my belt as a truck camper and Chevy 3500 dually owner. Never had a camper of any kind but always had a tow vehicle for a boat. I've had Ford and Toyota trucks for towing. Our current setup is a Chevy 3500 dually diesel with an AF 1150. About half the time we tow a approximately 3,000 lbs aluminum fishing boat behind it. It's an awesome rig. Can't even tell the boat is back there. The handles great. I did add stable loads which helped level the truck a bit more. I am highly impressed with the Chevy product having never had it before. Don't see why the GM would be any different.
