A better exterior range vent?

I have to go measure the vent. See if if fits my Lance 820.

Those are really nice vents. I bought one, tried to install it on my AF and failed.

The metal ducting from the stove hood was positioned in the hole in the wall in such a way that the vent would not go in to the hole. The hole in the wall was also slightly too small.

Thanks, that Endura vent looks perfect, ordered one. The aluminum/stainless one looks good too but $180 is crazy talk for that.

That Krylon Fusion is great stuff. I went over all the yellowed plastic with it, including the refrigerator vent on the roof.
Probably should buy some more just because.

Really happy with this replacement vent. It is made of thicker material and is more robust, so bumping it with a brush won’t send it to the scrap pile. It might require a little trimming to fit, but works well and won’t break off the latching tabs if you forget to latch it prior to driving. Really easy to disassemble and shove a piece of window screen in to help keep bugs out. Double check the flange size as they also offer a 5/8” flange.

OP: Get a can of Krylon Fusion and spray that new vent as soon as possible. It will 'never' yellow!

I did my stove vent, door trim, screen door bottom and fridge vent, and coach side mirrors with that paint. Looks like brand new and never yellows.

I replaced my cracked and yellowed vent with the same one, because that's the only style that would fit the hole in the wall.

Prior to installing it I painted it with Krylow Fusion gloss white... probably at least 6 coats.

6 years or so ago I did the same thin to the yellowing window trim on the door windows and the finish still looks good as the day I sprayed it.

My range vent cracked because I bumped it with a wash brush on a pole.
I will be more careful from here forward.
