On our last Tt, I used Krylon Fusion spray paint to touch up stuff like that. I'm truly amazed at how well it stood up and it looked like it came that way. I even painted the plastic trim around the windows in the doors and put it on thick to fill cracks (normally a bad idea) and they looked good as new until I sold it.
I replaced my cracked and yellowed vent with the same one, because that's the only style that would fit the hole in the wall.
Prior to installing it I painted it with Krylow Fusion gloss white... probably at least 6 coats.
6 years or so ago I did the same thin to the yellowing window trim on the door windows and the finish still looks good as the day I sprayed it.
My range vent cracked because I bumped it with a wash brush on a pole.
I will be more careful from here forward.
