ATF has fraction modifiers in it that are NOT good for diesel injection pumps. An old wifes tale that should not be put in any diesel engine.
I run a quart on Wally World TC-3 2 cycle oil in my 2001.5 Dodge/Cummins. Would choose something else for a newer truck. It would be something the manufacturer would document as a product to use.
