There was enough loose fill line to reattach with the door off, checking its sealed? A one time dousing of water shouldn't not be a problem in-itself. I honestly wouldn't be overly concerned.
I question the use of pipe dope also. Especially on smaller section, assuming hose went over larger barb section.
Picture doesn't show vent hose, But what is the grey line in the background with fittings?
The stiff grey line is the city water hook-up and the vent hose is just a push on, laying out of view in that picture.
