Wow, that's terrible! Why couldn't the highway department put an arm over the entrance ramp that is 7 feet 7 inches high, like they do in parking garages. It would be better to slam into something like that, than to take out 4 feet high of a passenger bus! If the parkway has a height restriction, then every entrance point should have one of these! People not familiar with the local area, tourists, and travelers can't know everything about every road they've never been down before! Especially if they don't know the area, are watching traffic, and trying to figure out where to go! A height restriction sign a mile or two away from the low overpass could easily be missed, or miss-interpreted.
I can understand a low bridge, or a low overpass, or a low railroad tussle on a secondary road or highway, but on a major parkway considered interstate grade... come-on!
