By the time he did the convertible conversion on that Prevost, the driver ignored MULTIPLE HUGE warning signs. You westerners, with wide open highways, built in the second half of the 20th century, would not only enjoy parkways, but the east coast has a lot more to offer, especially if you are trying to get through a densely populated, urban area that's been around a few centuries. My favorites are the "on ramps" that have no merge lane, just a single, narrow lane that dumps you right into high speed traffic, with no ability to get up to the speed. In many cases, you can't really give it all you got, in anticipation of jumping into the flow, since there is a vehicle ahead of you, at a full stop, since they can't or won't take the leap. Many of these cannot ever be corrected without adding tens of millions of dollars worth of upgrades, sometimes including widening bridges. The other joy is driving a nice big long rig into a rest stop, only to find that it was built during the depression, and looks like some sort of miniature village. Tiny building, tiny parking, and a slow crawl to get the heck out of there and back into traffic. It can really suck.
