This discussion brought back a trip memory two years ago. After camping along the Mohawk River at the Arrowhead Marina RV Park (very nice spot) above Schenectady, we were following the GPS to WalMart.
Headed straight toward one of those low railroad overpasses but luckily saw the (smallish) sign with enough time to turn right and go the long way around. No dramatic screeching of brakes or anything, but it was a real wake up call to pay extra close attention in the Northeast if we’re driving anywhere except the Interstates.
