I'm a firm believer in ignorance of the law is not a defense, but those signs are really stretching it imho.
It's like the signs in Michigan rest areas directing "Cars" to one parking area and "Trucks" to the other. Nobody thinks their pickup truck can't fit the car lot.
I notice that none of these parkway signs says anything about low clearance bridges.
That said, if someone is pulling a TT or driving a bus, it seems like the sight of a low span ahead would get their attention. But apparently not...
