The above is probably an unfair statement, but sadly most RV sellers want your money. They will tell you your tow vehicle could easily handle pulling the Titanic (and underwater is not a problem, either).
To some extent RV'ers have created a situation where quality comes last and low price comes first.
You will need to know EXACTLY what you want in an RV before you buy. Don't put a dime down on the table until any deficiencies are fixed to your specifications.
Will you boondock? Camp off the grid? Be in RV parks? Be in campgrounds? Decide those items and then narrow the search to units that meet your needs.
