This isn't a nuts and bolts comparison or a tow off on Davis Dam road, just a casual observation of payload stickers. Achieved by opening the door and snapping a picture.
Yep point well noted, that is why I love the the "I have a 250/250 XXXX, can I tow this 12,000# fiver. Most of the time not likely within the GVWR, as I know!
The same is true for all LD & HD Pickups, the GVWR and Payloads are all over the board.
Use to be there was like maybe tow or three different GVWR for a each of 150/1500, 250/2500 and 350/3500. Now days there are near 10 to about 16 different GVWR, this is NOT payload, but the total allowed weight on the wheels. Do they really have that many combinations of springs and tires????
