My new 2500 6.4L gasser has a payload of 3,000. That diesel engine really adds some weight!
Not uncommon. Pickuptrucks.com did a test of a King Ranch F250 and the CCC was 1972lbs. That was only 115 lbs more than my 2010 F150 XLT super crew 4x4 with maxtow and 7650lb GVW.
