Anything the government has to incentivize or mandate to be viable makes bad economic sense. If it can't stand on it's own feet, it's a dead horse - except in this case, the taxpayers get to pay to prop up the dead horse. Sooner or later, it's all going to crash. To bad our kids will end up paying big time for our stupidity for the last 50 years.
