I first met Bob during a TC caravan that I was part of when we visited TC manufacturers in Oregon, Washington, and BC. We visited his factory and I was so impressed that he and I sat down and put together what would have been my ‘dream’ camper, it had everything I ever wanted and more. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to sell my Lance for what I thought it was worth so I was not able to come up with enough cash (I don’t finance stuff) to buy so I kept the Lance. After the tour we all went up to a lake and Bob came along with his wife. We had a great time, Bob had endless stories to tell, what a great person. Then I met him again when it was decided that we should have a TC rally where all the TC manufacturers would be invited to show off their latest campers. It was held in Ogallala Nebraska. The turnout was fantastic. The rally was such a success that we held another one there and it too was a success. I am happy that I was able to be a part of all that but mostly that I became a good friend of Bob’s even though I never bought a camper from him. I kept in touch with him over the years. RIP Bob, enjoy that campground in the sky!
We remember that trip well. Heather and Bob were high school sweet hearts and were a great couple married for many years.
I believe Bob would give his shirt off his back for you.
Bob was also a great supporter of the world's best truck camper club: Natcoa
