I have always wanted to meet Mr Meher. I would have thanked him for his devotion to and passion for the truck camper.
Before we bought our camper I haunted these and other forums for information. I came to be aware of him from references to him by fellow contributors. Though he was manufacturing a competing brand to the one I ultimately bought, I found the features and benefits of his product to be closely in line with the information that I valued most.
There was a time he could post to this forum. I enjoyed the honest insight that only the designer/builder could offer. I always thought that at some point I would be going down the road in one of his products.
Sadly, that won't happen.
But, I know that the industry has been changed and shaped by the contributions of builders like Bob Meher.
