Insayn - I remember you and I sitting outside Bob and Heather's camper trying to not make too much noise after everyone else had called it a night....we finally called it a night at about 2AM or something. Good times.
Frank, thanks for posting this! I just caught the news the other day and was pretty shocked. 63 is too young.
Bob genuinely wanted to make a better TC and was always open to ideas. I remember causally mentioning something about lighting under the wings to help load the TC at night and I could see his mental gears turning and considering....he wanted to listen and analyze any ideas for a TC and would make it happen if he thought it was a good idea. I met him at a few shows...both the Denver RV show and the Sportman's Expo. He was one of those guys that brought a smile to your face just seeing him.
The "Command Seating" was another one he did I don't remember seeing in any TC until they did it:
I took this photo of one of those early "super slide" campers in Noxon MT. Cool old camper on a cool old truck. It was still there as of fall 2012.
