My only recommendation is to check the size of the bunks. Have your 14 year old lay in the bed and make sure that he/she can comfortably sleep in it. What is the weight limits on them? I've seen some as low as 125 lbs, but as high as 300 lbs.
Also, that bunk room will only give them room to sleep or lay in the bed, not much else. We had a bunkhouse like that, but needed more room in the bunk room, so we upgraded.
