hard start device showed up, installed it and now the AC makes even more noise starting, and Honda still starts it on eco but it struggles more now.
But there is no schematics around that I can find that shows if this already has a hard start device. There is 2 CAPs in the electrical box for the compressor, and some kind of relay down in there. I wired it like it says "one wire to each side of startup CAP.
Going back up top now to remove hard start device.
Edit: Hard Start removed, it AC now starts much easier :(
Edit 2: Found schematics under the lid I took off 3 or 4 times :(.
Unit already has a hard start cap, but the one I bought has 2X the capacitance, so I figured lets replace the factory one with aftermarket one.
Results: Much worse groan from AC as it starts, so I put stock stuff back in and decided "leave it stock".
