The RV wiring should have 3 wires used for cooling:
1. Cool - runs the compressor
2. Fan low - runs the fan low speed
3. Fan high - runs the fan high speed
In 'Fan low' mode the thermostat turns on #2.
In 'Fan high' mode it turns on #3.
In 'Cool low' mode it turns on #2 always and #1 when cooling is needed.
In 'Cool high' mode it turns on #3 always and #1 when cooling is needed.
In 'Cool low auto' mode it turns on #2 and #1 when cooling is needed.
In 'Cool high auto' mode it turns on #3 and #1 when cooling is needed.
If wire #2 is not connected, there will be no fan in any of the 'low' modes.
