A/C thermostat

We have a Arctic Fox 990 the a/c is a dometic I belive. My question is the fan runs all the time and the thermostat is on the unit. Is there a way to fix it so the fan shuts off when the compressor is not on. the one in my 5th wheel bed room does that the fan only runs when the compressor is on, maybe a wall mounted thermostat or something suggestions appreciated.
