Accident I79 North of Pittsburgh

My dad had a head-on collision while pulling a TT. To look at the TT, it looked fine, but it had slid up on the frame by a tiny amount. Big problems, later on.

Article says 2 were flown from the scene via medical helicopter. Not good. Hope they make out ok. On the bright side, even though the tv is totaled the 5er might be ok unless the abrupt stop caused pin damage.

Hard to say what happen but the pick-up passenger side is pushed up under the truck clear into the cab…Hope all survived but it doesn’t look good… While I haven’t a clue on what happened either, it does look like the red truck is fully in his lane of traffic, and there’s a good chance the 5er was following to close or not paying attention

I also thought that maybe the fiver was too close, but anyway that's a very bad curve there.

That's terrible looking. The truck pulling the fiver looks pretty tore up, but the passenger compartment might have been minimally impacted. Hoping that nobody was seriously hurt.

This is purely a guess, but it looks like the TV/FW might have been following too closely and hit the rear of the truck. But who knows, it might have been a lane change error by one of the other parties or 100 different reasons.

I saw that, too. I wonder if the trailer was on his way to Clem's in Zelienople. It looked bad, I hope they're okay.
