Acrylic Tinted Thermopane Euro Windows Lance 1575

We are considering a 2014 Lance TT. Having some concern with the Acrylic Tinted Thermopane Euro Windows which these TTs have.

Wondering how these Acrylic Tinted Thermopane Euro Windows hold up, how prone they are to scratches? As well as wonder how they would do in our New Mexico hot & sunny summers?

Any thoughts on these TTs.

Also a concern with the working of the Euro Windows to keep them open. We could not get the ones in the TT we were looking at to stay open, nor could to salesmen. Any problems with them?

It also has a Tankless Water Heater. How reliable are tankless water heaters?

No, we would not be down sizing if we went with this 19'6" trailer (15'5" interior). We would be up grading from our 16' Scamp (13' interior). Ha!

  • If those windows are like the ones I saw in Italy where the screen pulls up from the bottom, the shade pulls down from the top, and they are a bulged out plastic that hinges at the top for ventilation they seemed to impress me at the time. I later saw one TC using them in the states.
don't recall exactly how they are held open however. I too would consider that to be operator error.

  • we have a trailer bought new in may 2006 now 8 years later they look like new, great for winter camping. To open just lift up for the air flow you want, lift up again to release and close Sounds like the sales man only knew the price but not the features of the unit.Good luck in your quest.
