People got to have something to get their panties in a twist about. What's funny is just like 'ecoboost' Ford isn't the first to make a vehicle out of aluminum, it's just the first one doing it in a very high production volume vehicle.
While changing the oil in my Infiniti this weekend, I realized that the majority of the front end of my G35 is aluminum. Out of curiosity I grabbed a magnet and started checking components, and the only thing made from iron were bolts and the swaybars. Oh, and for those curious, I didn't see any corrosion at all.
