Rust Protection
Got a PM asking why I think 'cars' made of aluminum different than
'trucks' like ours...
The pavement to bottom distance and layout of the vehicle is way different
Ladder framed has many more vortices's that will suck up the salted
slush to land on both the ladder frame and uni-body
Anyone in contact with the 'better' automotive anti-rust companies
like Ziebart to ask what they have planned for these F150's?
My supposition is that the 'rust' folks in the 'rust' belt always
talk about will have a significant issue or potential issue(s) if
the designers didn't take care of 'all' potential galvanic spots
Why I think the other OEMs are taking a wait and see position...
