Adapter sleeve for 2 1/2 receiver

I used one with my truck/trailer for the first season I had it. Found there was way too much slop. Got a 2.5 inch shank and I am much happier with the tow.

Tractor Supply unit rated for? And is that sufficient?

And in regard to "a caution on the sleeve says do not use with distribution type hitches. Not sure why because it pulls fine." These are lawyer words. If it fails...you lose...cuz you used a product outside of its intended use, heard the warning and disregarded. And it will probably pull fine...until it fails...then you lose. Trust me, Lao didnt know anything about RVs or attorneys.
