If I recall correctly, the threaded end of the outdoor shower hose and wand is 1/2" pipe thread. I have two brass adapters - 1/2" FPT x male garden hose and a 1/2" MPT x female garden hose that I use to add a 10 section of FW hose.
Both available at home inprovement centers or a good hardware store
