A tire around 33" tall will look good without throwing off your gearing too much. Once you get up to 35's, you may start looking at ring and pinion changes due to the tall gearing and decreased towing performance. Crank up the height too much and fifth wheel towing will require flipping axles or building sub frames on the FW to clear your bed rails.
Most newer HD Rams come with 18" or 20" wheels which have stock tires that are a bit over 33" tall. I didn't realize the 17" base tires on the Rams were so small but now I understand why OPs tires looked so tiny to me. - Very nice upgrade....
- thomasgunnarExplorerI added flares to my superduty a few years ago. I ended up getting larger tires because the wheel wells looked huge with the flares. I went from a 258/75/16 to a 35/1250/18. Looks a whole bunch better.

Not sure about the stock tires.
Anybody have a little bit bigger tire recommendation? I'm not into a monster tire and want it to tow well. Current tire is 265/70/17 - Majja13ExplorerThat looks sweet. I want to put those on mine before summer gets here.
- gboppExplorerThey would be nice for my old F-150. It would help cover the rust. :)

Of course you need bigger tires.:B
It says "HEMI" on the front fender. Bigger tires will just have him trading for a Cummins in 3 months.
I think it looks great. If anything a 2" lowering kit front and rear would put the tires in better proportion and make it a more effective tow vehicle. I never liked that jacked-up, big-baloney-mudder-tire look. - skilesExplorerLooks good says me. I have been looking at those for my truck as well. Of course you need bigger tires.:B
