Adding a Shower Surround

We are waiting for our new Grey Wolf 26BH to be delivered to the dealer. The one thing this TT doesn't have that I'd like to have is a shower surround. How hard is it to add one of these? Are they screwed/nailed in? Or just glued and sealed around the edges? I know to leave the bottom unsealed so condensation can escape. We don't use the shower much as we usually use the shower house at the campground so is the surround really necessary? How durable is the siding in these? Thanks!
  • They are not "hard" to put in. Buy the right size.

Ours was held in with plastic rivets. Drill a hole, insert rivet , hit gently with a hammer to drive the center portion in and expand the rivet. Ours also had a strip of double sided tape at the ends of each panel and in the center.

As we have had a recurring problem with our tub , we removed and replaced the surround three times. Other than my wife drilling all the way through the wall to the outside, when drilling a pilot hole, all went well. (I forgive her.)

    Hope this helps.
