Adding ATF when you don't know what's in there

Ditto going back to that shop to find out what they used

Automotive fluids have become so specialized that they can not or should not
be mixed to become a witches brew that can take down that system

Like coolant today. CAN NOT mix them (American Green, OATs and HOATs..am sure
there are others out there) and will ruin the cooling system in short order
