Maybe you need to just get used to it?? :)
We were in a CG in Redding last summer with no shade when it was 108F. Nobody was outside. Went for a walk and came across one couple sitting in lawn chairs sipping wine. We said the heat was killing us. Reply was "nah, we're from Arizona and this is really nice here"!! :E Our single 13.5K AC in a 29' TT brought the temp. down just barely enough to sustain life inside - whew it was hot...
TT ceilings aren't insulated very well (either because they don't care or don't know how). What about laying down some insulation blanket on the roof that they use on HVAC ductwork? Comes in 3' wide rolls, is an inch or two thick and has a tough foil-like backing. I believe it's available in different R-values. Easy to roll up when not needed.
Do NOT try and run two AC units on a 30 amp service unless you don't care about damaging them and causing premature failure.
