Adventure Rv.Net

Anyone have experience with "Adventure Rv.Net"? Found a great price on an item on their site. Price seems almost too good when compared to other vendors.

Thanks,
RonR
  • I've purchased a number of things from them. Everything from plumbing to tiedowns. Never any issues.
  • Ordered items from them for several years

Only have had on issue with a 'delayed' shipping but that was resolved with a phone call
  • I have ordered from them several times, never a problem.

I agree sometimes their prices at times are a lot lower than others, that is why I have used them with out any problems.
  • Thanks All! I'm a newby. Just bought a 2000 Lance 215 a couple weeks ago. It's for the wife's Ram 2500 4x4 with a flatbed. The bed is 42" tall.

I really had no idea how important electric jacks are particular on a truck as high as her's. So now I'm shopping for electric jacks with remote, zero luck with finding any good used so looking hard at new.

Unfortunately, if you're after quality, you're really stuck with one brand, Rieco-Titan, both Atwood and Happijacks are made by Lippert, now, and Lippert hasn't exactly got a good reputation.

Anyone know what the full Rieco-Titan jack system weighs? I've found a 2 month old complete kit (with remotes) that unfortunately is several states away. The seller is intimated with shipping and I'm trying to do the leg work and help find a way it can be packed and shipped.

Wondering if they could get it too a UPS terminal (don't know if that's an option) would the warehouse gang handle everything?

I've also learned from a old Chevy Truck site (Stovebolt) I frequent that Fastenal is ofter a viable shipping option.

The sellers are intimated due to the weight and awkward handling when everything is bundled. My suspicion is they're in my age group (69 years young).

    Thanks RonR
  • The jacks are not light, I'd estimate around at least 100-150lbs. Bundled all together, it would be a two person lift for strong backs.
  • I've only ordered one thing from them. It was shipped in a box with no packing material and when it arrived it was non-functional. Contacted them and they asked for photos which I sent, then they told me it was my problem and I'd have to deal directly with the manufacturer. Luckily I'd purchased with my Amex card so I reported the issue with them and got a refund.

Would never again consider buying anything from Adventure RV.net.
