Ranchos over what ever the 'other' brand are good - regardless of ORW opinion but yes its the lift-lack of overloads (and probably softer spring rate).
Unless your air bags are tied together as other have mentioned, which would add to any sway (air in one bag instead of compressing is pushed into other bag) which is something to check. Curious how the air bags were compensated for with the lift.
Lift kits generally are designed to lift, not for heavy loads, and better lift kits the springs are more compliant for articulation. Neither good for camper.
I wouldnt spring for a set of shocks just yet though because they would need to be fit for the lift, and IF you dump you'll be buying more shocks.
