Advice needed on winterizing water tank and pump

I have a new 2014 Keystone Bullet TT purchased at end of 2014.. I only used in 2015 twice and only used city water connection, never fresh water tank. I winterized last week with RV antifreeze by pumping to every faucet one by one with a hand pump through the city water connection until pink came out every faucet, shower and toilet flush valve...also put pink in every trap and toilet.. Do I have to do anything with the fresh tank and pump if never used? I opened the lowest point tank drain and no water came out so can I assume it is a separate system and no water got into it or the pump since I only used the city water connection? Don't want to miss something if water can get into fresh tank lines without ever using electric pump and tank.

  • If you've never used the fresh water tank, and the low point drains are dry, you should be good. You should have a winterizing hose where you use the on board pump to distribute the AF. Much easier than a hand pump.
  • If you opened the low point drain for the fresh water holding tank and nothing came out you should be good to go. Per my owners manual, I turned on the pump for about 30 seconds, just to be sure that all water was out of the pump itself.

And like you, I have never used the holding tank.
