AF 811 or Lance 855S for 2013 Dodge 3500 SB 4x4

I'm considering going back to a TC but want to go with a SB as it will be more of a daily driver than my last DRW and Lance 1191.
I know these are both heavy campers but the 13 Dodge SRW has an 11,700 gvw and I believe a 7400 lb rear axle rating. Stock tires are around 3700 lb.
I'm assuming both of these campers will be pushing between 4k-4500lb wet. This should be with-in the capabilty of this truck.
Both seem like great campers but the AF has bigger tanks and maybe a little less expensive.
Anyone that own either I would appreciate your input and tell me what you like or dislike about yours and why you did or would choose either one.
Also, if anyone has the new Dodge, lets hear your comments.
I would get the crew cab, SB, 4x4 SLT package with the Cummins and will pay the $2600 for the Aisin trans.
Thanks
  • No kiddin'... I have not kept up too much on the 4G Dodge products. I did not know that 18" is now an option (or are these standard?) I would be curious what kind of load indexes these are coming from the factory. BTW- "BSW" means black side wall.
  • Just checked Ram web site
275/70/18 BSW (not sure what that means) range E, didn't give the load rating
  • The SB I drove had 265/75/18.
I assumed they would be 17s like my 03, but they were 18, Cant remember the brand.

Are you sure of this on a SRW? What are the tires and wheel size on the new Dodge trucks?

I believe they are still only the 17" offering from the factory a 265/17 with a Load Index of only 121. Regardless of the numbers placard, the Dodge tires are the weakest link
