After 17 years finally happened (tire blow out)

Do you know what you hit that took out your tire? Once it is down an shreds they all look the same.

Mine was a road hazard I never felt, that put a baseball sized dent in the rim and broke the spring. The shredded tire did little TT body damage but it took out both axles. It sure did smoke a lot. The real problem was it was a month old D rated upgrade to my tires.

The insurance covered everything including a new D rated tire.
