$ for $ they'll outlast flooded cells. I just replaced a 7 y.o. AGM battery in my TT. Unfortunately it was a large 4D and the replacement was super expensive so I went with a flooded cell replacement.
The Optima has good press so they should work well.
Two caveats would be: 1. make certain that your converter/charger will work OK with the AGM. If it's only a few years old, it's probably a 3 stage and will be fine. If it's from the 90s it could be a 2 stage and will be an issue. 2. The AGMs are taller than their flooded cell cousins. Be certain they will fit. When I had my Lance 981 I wanted to go to AGM but they wouldn't fit in the compartment.
