I could be wrong but I think you made an error in your comparison between the 6 and 12 volt batteires . The general rule is to not discharge below 50% . Your numbers on the 12v batteries are correct . With the 6v batteries they are 230AH total ( to make 12v ) so you have to take 50% for the usable AH's which is 115 AH divided by 20 = 5.75 AH . Still a gain but not quit 11.5 AH .
