Air bag/Roadmaster sway bars

I KNOW I saw this here before but my search skills seem to be lacking.

It looks like the mounts for the rear Roadmaster sway bar on my '06 F350 are going to interfere with my airbag base.

I know I can make it work but just checking to see what others have done for ideas.

Thanks

Yeah laying under the truck it looks good but that picture clearly shows some tilt, which will probably solve my problem if I can straighten it out.

  • looking at the pics it looks like I have some downward/inward tilt on the bag mount. Its not that evident laying under the truck...that may just be the answer at least to the bushing contact but I dont think it will solve the actual bar connection but looking at the pics ended up giving me somewhere to start that I didnt notice before.

edit: looks like there is a spacer I could have/maybe should have used to hold up the end of the mount a lil more which would probably make it perfect all around.
  • It was tough to get good pics but now I'm actually worried about the bar AND the bracket hitting the bag mount. I think I can trim it for the bracket but not the bar. Gonna loosen up the airbag mount and see if there is any play.

I can't imagine that it would. My Roadmaster Bar bolted to the same spot as my OEM bar on my 03 F350

hmmmm don't have time to take a picture but my axle mount for the sway bar js opposite of yours. Its on top of the axle not at the bottom.
